Subject: Instructions for Choosing Breakout Sessions
Please review the attached form listing breakout sessions for the upcoming conference. The sessions are grouped to include all three tracks:
Track 1 is "The Business of Agriculture"
Track 2 is "The Agricultural Economy"
Track 3 is "The Agricultural Community"
If you have previously made a track selection, you may change it if you see another track that fits your interests more closely. However, there will be no more changes of track selection after June 22, 1998. If you do not choose a track, one will be assigned to you.
Attached you will find a Breakout Session Preference Form. Please indicate your first three choices by circling the names of the presentations you wish to attend for each of the sessions. If you have an order preference, please place a "1" by your first choice, "2" by your second choice and a "3" by your third choice. Your choices must be for breakouts that are in your track. Unfortunately, we cannot allow moving among the tracks. We will make every effort to give you your choice; however, it will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
There are 9 sessions of 12 breakouts. They are grouped by session:
A-2: Monday, June 29th at 2:00 p.m.
A-3: Monday, June 29th at 3:30 p.m.
B-1: Tuesday, June 30th at 10:00 a.m.
B-2: Tuesday, June 30th at 1:45 p.m.
B-3: Tuesday, June 30th at 3:30 p.m.
C-1: Wednesday, July 1st at 10:00 a.m.
C-2: Wednesday, July 1st at 1:45 p.m.
C-3: Wednesday, July 1st at 3:30 p.m.
D-1: Thursday, July 2nd at 10:00 a.m.
If you have any questions, please contact Marylan Chapman at 202/720-4356. Please fax your completed form to her at 202/205-3658 before June 22, 1998. You will get a listing of your breakout session assignments when you arrive at the conference. We look forward to seeing you on June 28th.
